At REAS 2023 a new area dedicated to occupational safety

REAS is divided into macro exhibition areas that cover all areas of emergency management: fire prevention, civil protection, first aid and aids for people with disabilities. Over the course of over twenty years of history, the International Emergency Exhibition has been able to give a voice to companies that put work, experience and the ability to innovate at the service of the emergency sector.

The technological synergy is the basis of one of the novelties of REAS 2023. On the occasion of the edition scheduled from 6 to 8 October, in fact, the three sectors that have always been the strength of REAS are joined by the one dedicated to occupational safety. Many innovations intended for the emergency sector also find application in the field of occupational safety and this is why, in certain processes, the production processes are carried out in a synergistic way.

REAS will therefore offer companies that have been exhibiting products for the emergency sector at the fair for some time the opportunity to also offer their own range relating to occupational safety. One more opportunity for companies and visitors.

REAS 2022 towards sold-out: the fire-fighting sector is growing

The fire-fighting sector is of fundamental importance in emergency management. This is an area that has always had ample space at REAS, the leading trade fair in Italy for the sector, completed by the macro-sectors dedicated to civil protection and first aid. In the 2022 edition, scheduled from 7 to 9 October at Centro Fiera Montichiari, the exhibition spaces dedicated to fire prevention have increased significantly, confirming how specialized companies in the sector are experiencing a phase of investment and product innovation.

“The number of companies in the fire-fighting sector that will exhibit at REAS is growing rapidly”, explains Ezio Zorzi, director of the Centro Fiera Montichiari. “We will have the presence and return to the fair of national and international production companies that choose REAS to better control the Italian market, one of the most complete and diversified in Europe. During our presence at the INTERSCHUTZ edition last June in Hanover, we collected important confirmations and a considerable interest in REAS. The conditions are in place for a 2022 edition among the best ever. “.

In addition to the growth on the exhibition front, the fire prevention sector will be at the center of REAS’s conference proposal. In particular, the theme of forest fires will be the subject of the AIB Round Table entitled “The summer twinning of the AIB 2022 Campaign” scheduled for Friday 7 October, starting at 2.30 pm. The appointment, coordinated by Franco Pasargiklian, director of the Italian Civil Protection magazine, will compare the main players in the national AIB system: Department of Civil Protection, National Fire Brigade Command, Regions, AIB Volunteer. The summer of 2022, in fact, sees the persistence of drought and lack of rainfall which can only aggravate an already critical situation. The Round Table will be an opportunity to draw up an initial assessment of the “AIB summer twinning”, decided by the Department of Civil Protection and the Regions to intensify operational collaboration in the management of forest fires.

June 22, 2022: the date of the “Partner Country Day for Italy supported by REAS” has been set at INTERSCHUTZ

REAS will once again be the protagonist at INTERSCHUTZ, the world’s leading trade fair for the safety sector scheduled in Hanover from 20 to 25 June 2022.

Within the Italian collective, there will be room for the technologies and know-how that make our country a virtuous model on a European scale.

The highlight will be the “Country Partner Day for Italy supported by REAS” scheduled for Wednesday 22 June. A day entirely dedicated to our country in which to promote the Italian emergency management system, consolidate institutional partnerships and present the unique characteristics of REAS to European players.

AIB summer 2021 campaign, an experience to remember: the AIB Round Table at REAS 2021

On Saturday 9 October, on the occasion of REAS, the traditional appointment with the AIB Round Table is confirmed. The meeting entitled “AIB summer 2021 campaign: an experience to remember. As a new organizational structure to combat the phenomenon of fires, also in light of the law decree no. 120 – September 8, 2021?” it is promoted by the magazine “La Protezione Civile Italiana”, sees the participation of the main actors of the national AIB system: DPC, CNVVF, Regions, ANCI, AIB Volunteer.

Confirmed the participation of Guido Parisi, Head of the National Fire Brigade, with the interventions as speakers by an exponent of the National Civil Protection Department, by Gianluca Calvani, Coordinator of the AIB Subcommittee of the Tuscany Region and by Mirko Scala, President of the VAB Italy Federation. The restart of the fairs: from 8 to 10 October 2021, REAS alongside volunteers and operators in the emergency sector

Also for the fairs it is the moment of the restart. Based on the provisions of Law Decree no. 52 of 22 April 2021 containing urgent measures for the gradual resumption of economic and social activities in compliance with the need to contain the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic, from 15 June the exhibition activity can officially restart. The appointment with REAS International Exhibition for Rescue, Fire Fighting, Disaster Relief and Security in Montichiari (BS) is set for 8, 9 and 10 October 2021. Over the last year, Centro Fiera Montichiari and Deutsche Messe, promoters of the event, have worked with the maximum commitment to prepare a 2021 edition capable of giving concrete support to the restart of the sector.

Under the aegis of AEFI, the Italian Exhibition and Fair Association, the Italian trade fair system has developed common protocols that allow everyone to leave safely, in full compliance with the provisions on health, to protect visitors, exhibitors and workers. In view of the actual reopening scheduled for mid-June, therefore, the country’s exhibition operators have joined forces to ensure a safe restart.

For over twenty years, REAS has been alongside volunteers and operators in the emergency sector,” says Gianantonio Rosa, president of the Montichiari Exhibition Center. “Even in this difficult phase, the REAS world has shown a profound closeness to those involved in the front line in managing the pandemic. The trade fair system can make a concrete contribution to economic recovery, putting its structures and skills at the service of the territory. As Centro Fiera di Montichiari we are working tirelessly on the events of the second half of 2021 and REAS is certainly among the most awaited, as evidenced by the numerous companies that have already confirmed their participation. The added value of REAS is the ability to give voice to the Italian emergency sector and we are confident that the October edition will reward the efforts made by companies in the sector.

The new challenges of emergency management will be the theme of the October edition of REAS. In twenty years of history, the event has established itself as a point of reference for those who work in the management of civil protection, first aid and fire protection emergencies. The fair is the best tool to orientate oneself in a sector that, today more than ever, is undergoing profound transformations. Technological evolution, regulatory adjustments and the need to define increasingly accurate standards of intervention are key factors for operators. REAS offers an opportunity for comparison with the best production and commercial realities in the sector, thanks to an audience of operators and volunteers from all over Italy in search of the main innovations that the market offers. At REAS 2021 it will be possible to share the many experiences gained over the past months, giving space to Bodies, Associations and State Bodies that have faced an unprecedented challenge for the national emergency management system.

The appointment with REAS International Exhibition for Rescue, Fire Fighting, Disaster Relief and Security, therefore, is from 8 to 10 October 2021 at Centro Fiera Montichiari.
